in spring 2008, i randomly met ruth. i was driving out of biola ave. and i saw her crossing the street. during that time i was working on a photo project and the colors she was wearing captured my eye. i parked my car, crossed the street, and introduced myself to her. we have developed a sweet friendship and meet once a month for coffee and tea.
ruth is an inspiration. at the age of 92, she still passionately pursues her love for art.
project: i found an old book and will be making a collage of her old photos to re-tell her stories.
